Iago + Dimitri is this web series on YouTube by LuddenMedia. It’s about college life seen through the eyes of two demons (Iago and Dimitri) who are trying to seduce the vulnerable college population to the “dark side”.
It was actually one of the YouTube channels nominated for the SxePhil spotlight contest run by Philip DeFranco. I got in second place with over 900 votes – but LuddenMedia won with over 1,000 votes. It was a well deserved victory for their hard work. I personally have every one of their episodes copied on my computer – I’m kind of addicted. I also was able to exchange a few messages and get to know the series writer – Dave Derus.
Imagine my surprise when I was watching the end of episode six. One of the main characters is now trying to collect blankets to send them to needy kids in India. “I’d be concerned with making sure your man doesn’t quit school to try and save the world” laments Dimitri.
