		<description>Sounds like a similar problem I had with my Lacie drive (twice already), also that it came back to life for a short while and then really crapped out. I just got so irritated I opened the casing and put the actual drive in another casing. The drive was fine.
So it was the controller in the casing.
So if you need your data ... do that ... a casing is cheap and Lacie won&#039;t get you your data back.</description>
